The upper is soft and pebbled with a bit of give from the start, set on a layered cream sole that lifts it off the ground and takes the hardness out of a long walk. Open lacing adjusts through the instep, the toe is generous rather than tapered, and the whole thing sits as comfortably with dark denim as it does with chinos.
